Let’s get comfy
Posted on August 26th, 2008 @ 11:58 am

I forgot to mention, yesterday while at the mall I tried on some uggs.  The real UGG Australia ones.. and OMG.  They are so ridiculously comfy it’s unbelievable.  I felt like I was walking on a cloud.  Even if they are considered ugly, they’re too good to pass up.  I plan to get some semi soon, in time for the cooler weather (not that it’s warm right now or anything..) I’m looking round the internet to see if I can get them cheaper then buying them in the stores but so far, with the cost of shipping I don’t save anything whatsoever.

But seriously.. if you haven’t already, try some on and see for yourself (the REAL ones!).

Snapbomb
Posted on August 26th, 2008 @ 11:55 am

I recently signed up with Snapbomb, another blog advertising company.

Snapbomb is different than other blog marketing companies because it analyzes the value of your blog, and sets a range of the amount you should be paid for each post based on the value it has calculated. This range is determined by the usual important factors, such as traffic and advertiser feedback. This method is great if you have an already popular blog, and gives other blogs the opportunity to improve their value by writing quality posts.

Another good feature of Snapbomb - bloggers are encouraged to disclose they are writing a sponsored post. This practice ensures everything is transparent and is fairer to the blog’s readers.

Other then that, Snapbomb is a typical pay you to blog company. Payment is paid every month via Paypal and there is no minimum payout. If you want to learn more about Snapbomb, check out their website in the link above.

This is a sponsored post.

Chaos happens
Posted on August 25th, 2008 @ 9:36 pm

Life is pretty hectic for me right now.  I’m getting ready to move into temporary accommodations at the beginning of next month, and then a month after that, move for real (back East).  I was managing my time pretty well in slowly packing and organizing but no matter what it gets crazy in the last few days, no matter how prepared you are.  It’s a bitch but thankfully the brunt of it is almost done.

Other then that tiny inconvenience, I’ve just been scrambling.  I did get a tiny amount of free time this afternoon so I looked around the mall. Despite not planning to of course I bought some stuff. These really cute linen shorts from Club Monaco and some undies, hehehe. One of the reasons I love Fall is the fashions.  I saw some pretty cute stuff that only seems to appear for the Fall season.  I think Fall is the best season fashion wise.  It was all I could do to not buy a whole bunch!

All I can say is thank god I’m not working much anymore.  It would be very hard, if not impossible, to make time for moving preparations as well as working.  The only downside is less money.  Which doesn’t help when I want to buy a completely new wardrobe for Fall…

Despite the chaos, I will be around the Internetz for the next few days whenever I can find the time and will try my hardest to blog.  Take care everyone, and wish me luck.

P.S. I know these promotional products are supposed to be for businesses to get their name out there, but is it wrong I want to order some pens with my info? Now that’d be awesome!

Bed is calling
Posted on August 23rd, 2008 @ 11:31 pm

Wow, I have no knowledge of why, but I feel awful today.  Ever since I woke up I’ve had a nagging headache that hasn’t subsided even after Advil.  Also my head is stuffed up.  I’m not sure if this is a cold or what.  Or maybe allergies?  Whatever it is, it’s not very fun.

While being under the weather, today I tried to put a dent in my huge workload that is school.  I understand lots of people have just as much to do as me, but I’m not so good at managing it.  I’m not much of a procrastinator but I do get overwhelmed with all I have to do which makes it harder to focus.  I did a lot done today despite that and I’ll try to keep plugging away bit by bit every day.

Hm, right now it’s getting pretty late and I still feel very achy so I’m going to call it a night very soon.  I wasted some precious time this evening browsing the applications in the App store.  I don’t know how Apple does it, but they manage to continually profit even after suckers like myself have purchased their overpriced iPods.  It’s ingenious, really.  I have found lots of great free apps but I’m very tempted to buy a few that do cost money.  I need to resist the urge!

Off to bed now.  Good night/morning everyone!

Cars, cars, cars
Posted on August 23rd, 2008 @ 11:19 pm

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, but I think the huge cost of owning and maintaining a car outweighs any added convenience. You’ve already got the necessary expenses such as car insurance and gas that is forked out on a regular basis. Add tune ups, tires, and repairs and you’ve got one big money pit! Having a car is definitely a nice convenience if you can afford it, but remember the money starts flowing as soon as you get the keys!
