Beads galore

When I was younger, I used to boast quite the selection of beads. I kept all of them in a big plastic container, and whenever I wanted to make a necklace or bracelet, that came out. My favourite beads still are the transparent glitter ones. Ah, the good old days. I still like jewelry making, though I have devoted virtually no time for it for many years. Maybe soon I’ll take it up again, but this time using higher quality beads.

Beads of Cambay is an online supplier of discounted wholesale beads. They sell many different types of beads, including freshwater pearls and even wholesale gemstone beads including sapphire, ruby and emerald. Now that’s jewelry making of a little higher caliber then I’m used to. These precious gem beads are way out of my range, but I love pearl necklaces, and it would be really cool to wear one and know you’ve made it yourself.

Real pearls really are stunning.. for now I’ll have to settle with the, erm, not so genuine kind. Except when I try on my grandmother’s jewelry ;) If you make your own jewelry, it might be worth to check out wholesale stores and see what you could save.
