So has anyone got their hands on any of the new ipods? I’m sure most people have at least heard of them, since they were pretty hyped as most apple products are. What do you guys think of the changes?

I was most surprised at the whole new look of the ipod nano. They actually look more similar to the 2nd generation nanos then the short and fat shape of the most recent predecessor! I’m not too sure what to think of the curved shape.. isn’t it a little awkward? I’ll have to get my hands on..for research purposes of course.

They were a few improvements to the iPod Touch which I was anxious about, since I purchased the touch a little over a month ago. There was nothing too groundbreaking though that made me regret not waiting for the 2G, and I still received mine at a cheaper price so I’m satisfied.

My refurbished iPod Touch arrived this morning from apple.  It took less then two days to get here, which was unexpected but great.  To put it out there, Apple refurbished products are good as new.  It came flawless, absolutely no scratches whatsoever and works like a charm.  I really recommend a refurbished iPod Touch (Directly from Apple only! Check their online store for refurbs).  You save a lot of money while still getting a great product.

I’m not even going to try to write a proper review of this, because I’m no good at it and don’t know what I’m talking about but so far I love this gadget, it’s interface is ingenious and it’s very intuitive.  Also it’s just plain fun to use.  I decided I am not going to jailbreak it, but instead add what free apps I want from the App store.  I might be missing out a bit but I really don’t feel comfortable doing that, and besides, there are some pretty decent free applications out there.

Well enough ramblings.  I’ll get to know this unit more over the next few days, especially the Wi-Fi feature.  Here’s a few pictures of some iPod porn (though they’re not very good pictures themselves..)
