Back to schoolPosted on September 8th, 2008 @ 11:00 am
I’m a lot like a little kid in that I love buying back to school supplies. It’s just plain fun and makes the upcoming school year more enjoyable. Even though I am way out of grade school, and fun things for activities like drawing and colouring aren’t on the curriculum anymore, I still find lots of useful school supplies that make assignments easier.
One of those things are file folders, which I use to divide my current work by subject. I always have at least two 3 subjects on the go at the same time, so keeping them separate is a big help. To keep these folders organized, I buy different colours and also label them by subject.
DYMO is THE organization company, and the neat freak in me totally wants their label maker. I can think of a billion and one things I could organize with their labels, one being my mom’s disaster area sewing room. Another would be my grandfather’s old work space, the labels would be perfect to make sense of the endless assortment of nails, wires and tools.
In addition to these household solutions, DYMO is perfect for back to school organization. In the elementary grades, it’s important to label your child’s belongings so they don’t end up lost. My mom always labeled my lunchbox with my name, any containers I brought food in, and my water bottle.
With the school year starting up, here’s to organization to make the best of it.
