PMS!

Excuse my ignorance, but I didn’t what progesterone was until a few minutes ago when I looked it up to find out. Progesterone is a female hormone and is related to reproduction (periods, pregnancy and all that jazz.) It’s said taking additional progesterone has a range of health benefts even including reducing the risk of miscarriage and breast cancer. I’d be a little skiddish about taking a hormone, though really I’m not informed enough to judge accurately.

Monitor your blood pressure
Posted on August 10th, 2008 @ 2:08 pm

Blood pressure is important yet often overlooked. High blood pressure, also called hypertension can cause serious health concerns such as heart attack, whereas abnormally low blood pressure (hypotension) if left untreated can cause damage to vital organs. Between doctor visits, you can keep track of your blood pressure with a blood pressure monitor and ensure it’s at a healthy level.
