I sound spoiled but I would really love a vacation.  Who doesn’t, really?  I haven’t gone anywhere this Summer.  I was thinking maybe a day trip to a nice place, maybe Tofino. A vacation that sounds incredibly nice are these Mediterranean cruises. Heh, if only! Too bad about that little thing called money.

Where have you gone, or would like to go on vacation?

One place I’ve always wanted to visit is Chicago. Known as the windy city, it’s not as famous as cities such as New York or Los Angeles, it’s always appealed to me as an interesting place to visit.  I’ve heard there are lots of things to do in Chicago, including seeing the city’s landmarks such as the Chicago Theatre. Not forgetting some fantastic shopping as well!

I’ve really only scratched the surface in what Chicago has to offer. Trusted Tours & Attractions offers various sightseeing tours in and around Chicago. They offer tours of Chicago’s hidden gems, including tours of places or sights a tourist might overlook otherwise.

I took this picture in Tofino almost 2 years ago at Long Beach near Tofino. Such a stunning place.  I’d really love to go back but it’s a five hour drive each way!   Soon, hopefully.  I definitely recommend it as a must see, especially if you’re a surfer.

Okay, so I have gotten a fair amount of sleep and a caffeine fix, so I think I’m ready to possibly, properly blog.

Vancouver was fun.  We went to their major mall, Metrotown and shopped til we dropped. I swear that mall is even larger then the Eaton centre in downtown Toronto, and certainly a hell of a lot more confusing to navigate.  So sprawly, crowded and confusing, haha.  But we dealt for the sake of shopping.

On our way over, we did have our heart attack breakfast, right as planned.  I swear, grease and fat are the best appetite suppressants, because I wasn’t hungry until about 6 hours after eating breakfast.  So it kinda makes up for itself, right? right?
