I didn’t have the use of my laptop for the majority of today, and sadly enough, this allowed me to be way more productive in terms of schoolwork.  I did get quite a bit done which is satisfying and a relief.  Though I do do a lot of my schoolwork on the computer, it’s also a source of endless distractions.

Speaking of my laptop, yesterday it was upgraded to 2 GB memory (it only came with 1 GB) and boy what a difference!  It is much less laggy and overall more snappy in performance.  Yay!

I don’t know exactly why, but lately it just feels like Fall is in the air.  To me, at least.  This summer has passed, so so quickly it seems like one large blur.  I do like Autumn (though on the west coast it is more foggy and rainy than the sunshine-filled Fall weather in Ontario).  Fall is exciting because lots of new things are going on.

I just requested a decline of my work hours to limit them to only weekends.  I really do want the main focus of my time to be school so once it really starts up full swing next month I need the time.  I really don’t want to quit completely though, so I thought that was a nice compromise.  Hopefully I am able to be this flexible in when I want to work.  We’ll see!

I worked almost a full day today and I am beat!  It’s hard to have energy for much else after work.  So I’m just relaxing at home right now, hiding from the heat.  Later this evening I’m heading out to Dairy Queen to get a blizzard.  It’s a great excuse to buy one today because 100% of the proceeds (North America) go to the Children’s Miracle Network to help sick children, so it’s a great cause, and very delicious anyhow.

According to the tracking website, the package that contains my iPod Touch is going to be here by tomorrow evening.  Ah, the excitement builds!

As lame as this makes me sound, I’m sporting a headache, and majorly sore feet from working today.  Oh the joy of working early in the morning for almost a full day.  Oh well, it’s money right! Speaking of money, with that I’m thinking of getting an iPod Touch soon.. I’m kind of hesitant to because I do have an iPod (2nd gen nano, almost full) but I really want the Wifi, though I wonder how often you can actually find an accessible network? Hmmm.. if anyone owns one please share your thoughts on it with me.

So all I have done today is get up early, work for the whole day, and come home and crash.  I am really not a morning person, and I feel beat for the whole day when I do get up early.  That’s basically all I’m doing the next few days to, is working, with the exception of a couple days off.  So be it.. I will find the time to blog and that brings me to .. this Friday’s Fashion Find Friday!!

I know you’re excited.. boy do I have a treat for you.  I think I’m going to feature two different fashion finds this Friday, because I couldn’t choose just one.  Without revealing too much, one fashion find is apparel and the other is beauty related.  So stay tuned.  Speaking of fashion, would you get a load of these French maid costumes!

Okay, enough rambles for today. I’m going to go have a hot bath and then straight to bed. That’s how tired I am!

I found the time blog, I also want to tweak this theme but I can’t seem to get to it!  On top of that, Wordress needs to be updated.  I’ve set a deadline for myself on that.  Updated by this Saturday!

I’m working more then usual this week so I’ll have less time all together.  A few are those awful early morning ones, which I despise.  I would rather be working into the evening then have to drag myself out of bed that early.  Yuck.

Well it’s raining today so I have a good excuse to stay in all day.  The couch and a blanket is looking pretty good right now.  Go laziness!

I’m not sure if my family has term life insurance, but it sounds like a smart thing to have.

I feel really lethargic today.   I think I might be coming down with something, or allergies or something fun like that.

I worked last evening, though I haven’t been scheduled for much lately.  But that will change next week, because we’re doing inventory on several hardware stores?!

A nice thing about yesterday was payday.  Of course that’s always nice.  I should save most of it, but with some of it I’m thinking new shoes?   Me and my thing for shoes.  I’d love to look at some flats or sandals, but I don’t think there’s any steel toe shoes in my future!
